The forum brings together experts from the public sector, NGOs, private sector, and academia to share knowledge and foster innovation in disaster risk management (DRM).
The 2024 Understanding Risk Forum (UR24) was held in Himeji, Japan, ahead of the 30th anniversary of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake in 2025.
