Chrome, Country, and Hip-Hop:
Bridging Dekotora Culture with BRELAND’s New Era
Case Study: Dekotora Collaboration Music Video
BRELAND is an American singer-songwriter who is single-handedly redefining the boundaries of modern music by seamlessly blending country, hip-hop, and R&B. He first exploded onto the scene in 2019 when his viral hit "My Truck" took social media by storm, effectively launching the "Country Trap" movement—a fresh, high-energy fusion that injects hip-hop grit into traditional country roots.
Following his breakout success, BRELAND released his debut album Cross Country in 2022, a project that perfectly captures his hybrid musical identity. His versatile sound and open-minded approach have led to high-profile collaborations with legends across every genre, from Keith Urban and Shania Twain to Nelly. While fans have been eagerly awaiting a new full-length album since 2022, he has remained incredibly active through 2026, staying busy with live tours, charity events, and consistent single releases that keep the world watching for his next big move.
For the release of his highly anticipated new track, "In My Truck," Eiwa Media was proud to step in and handle the full music video production. This project takes a bold new approach by featuring the unique "Dekotora truck" culture, creating a visually striking world that perfectly mirrors BRELAND’s innovative style. We set out to visualize his hybrid sound in a way that’s never been seen before.
To take his branding to the next level, our team provided a comprehensive creative package. Beyond the main music video, we delivered professional still photography and tailored social media content. By taking this multi-layered approach, we ensured that BRELAND’s presence and the song's unique atmosphere felt consistent and powerful across every platform.
CHALLENGES
▶ Completing the whole creative package: the main music video, high-quality photography, and social media content within a fixed budget and a very limited timeframe.
▶ We acted as a bridge between the U.S. artist team and the Japanese "Dekotora" crew, overcoming language and cultural barriers to ensure smooth and clear communication.
▶ We supported the process of turning a bold vision,an industry-first fusion of the "Cross Country" genre and "Dekotora",from a mere idea into a reality.
